Same name. Whole new company.
Entrepreneurs & Lakers all, Steve Brink, Rick Ball, and Joel Rauch saw an opportunity to bring new life to an old name. Purchasing the assets only, they are excited to launch a new endeavor here at Lake of the Ozarks by opening a whole new Iguana Marine Group or IMG.
“The name has traction, and many people are familiar with the branding. We want to take that strength and create a healthy new business that offers some of the best brands to boating enthusiasts from around the country as they shop here at Lake of the Ozarks,” says Joel Rauch.
As the company starts to gain traction, they are partnering with world-renowned brands like Malibu Boats, Cruisers Yachts, Rinker Boats, and Godfrey Pontoons to bring the best of performance boating to the Lake.
With over thirty years in the boat business, all three partners have strong ties to Lake of the Ozarks and understand the boating market, as well as the needs of the boating customer. They plan to offer a full line dealership aimed at meeting every boater’s needs, including service, parts, and marine gear.
Another facet of their business goals is investing in the local community. Their hand-picked management team shares the same philosophy, and are excited to be part of the new IMG.
“Being part of the community is core to any business at Lake of the Ozarks,” says Business Manager, Mandy Faes. “The people are one of the best things about the lake community and the enthusiastic boating environment they produce. We want to be part of that.”
“I’m excited to welcome my customers to a whole new IMG,” says Steve Trapino, IMG Sales Rep. “To provide them with exceptional customer service and build long-lasting relationships. Boating is a lifestyle, and we want to make sure our customer’s needs are met with everything from the right financing packages, to preventative maintenance, even making sure they have the right ropes and life-jackets to outfit their new boat.”
